Turn caps lock on iPhone

To turn caps lock on, double-tap the Shift key. The Shift key will turn blue and all letters will be uppercase. Tap the Shift key again to turn caps lock off. 

To enable or disable this feature, go to Settings > General > Keyboard and select “Enable Caps Lock.”

Conference call iPhone

You can use the iPhone to make a conference call. During a call, tap the “add call” icon in the bottom left and choose which contact you would like to add. Select that contact’s phone number to call them. The “add call” button will turn into “merge calls”; tap this to merge the two calls into one conference call. You can have up to five calls in one conference call; simply repeat the steps above to add more people to the call. 

This feature may depend on your network carrier; contact them to find out if it is available.

SMS privacy iPhone

Your iPhone is set to automatically show a preview of incoming text messages. In Settings, you can choose if you want to see a preview of your messages on the Home screen by tapping Messages and turning Show Preview on or off.

Slide for uppercase

Instead of typing an uppercase letter by tapping shift and entering the letter, you can quickly enter a capital letter by touching and holding the Shift key, sliding it to the letter on the keyboard, and releasing your finger.

Show battery life percentage iPhone

Add a percentage battery-life indicator to the status bar. In Settings, select General > Usage, and turn Battery Percentage on or off.

Only on iPhone 3GS and higher.
